Accurate Facts. Clear Decisions.

Once we have completed your Assessment we are then armed with the facts we need to enable us to carry out the Benchmarking part of the process. This involves reviewing your current services against the marketplace to give you a true understanding of the options available, so that you can make informed decisions. This process helps you to achieve the best possible rates, terms and conditions from your supplier agreements, as well as ensuring that the any new contracts meet your needs first, not the network providers’.

HOW DO WE DO IT?

STEP ONE

Based on the findings of the Assessment, we break down your transactions to identify detailed cost and usage patterns across your organisation. We then cross-check these with our database, which contains details of all the tariffs offered by the UK’s tier one and tier two carriers. Once we have done this we approach your provider and other suppliers, without telling them who we’re working for, to gather up-to-date competitive pricing information.

STEP TWO

Once you have reviewed the findings from Step One, you can then select the top three suppliers for us to approach on your behalf. We prepare a comprehensive ‘Request for Proposal’ which takes all your cost and service criteria and weightings into account, and at this stage we also let them know who you are, as this invariably results in even keener pricing!

STEP THREE
The next stage is to compare your current billing detail against the revised tariffs and services from these top three suppliers, so that you can select which provider you would prefer to work with in the future. Over the years we have found that around 50% of our customers are able stay with their existing providers but on much more favourable contracts, which enable them to achieve significant savings. 

What does it cost?

We combine our Assessment and Benchmarking services into one simple charging structure as these are usually carried out together. This is based upon a percentage of your current annual telecoms spend as an initial fee, followed by a percentage of the savings we identify. If you prefer these two areas to be costed separately we can discuss this on an individual basis.

It’s easy to find theoretical savings in almost any service, but at MH2 CONSULTING LIMITED we don’t deal in theories. Which is why we also we integrate contract termination costs (sometimes known as Reconciliation Fees) into every recommendation we make. In fact, we’re so confident of being able to offer genuine benefits with our Telecoms Cost Management program, that if the saving we identify is less than 10% of your annual spend, then we refund the initial fee in full and you pay nothing.

What happens next?

Whatever changes you decide to make based on the outcome of the Assessment and Benchmarking exercise, we can implement these for you. Whether it means staying with your existing provider or moving to a new one, we can make the transition happen smoothly and seamlessly, without tying up any of your own internal resources. And once the changes are implemented, we normally expect to see tangible savings within six weeks.
